The Italian and European banking sector are strongly committed to environmental, social and governance sustainability, promoting new financial instruments, aimed at developing impact investments in line with the European framework. The Commission Action Plan on sustainable finance sets out a comprehensive strategy to further connect finance with sustainability and introduces some relevant measures regarding the financial sector.
