Protection of savers, investors, youth work, businesses, these are the crucial challenges that await Italy. We need a new European strategy, with new Treaties and a real Constitution, with rules for equal competition and for the development of the disadvantaged areas as Italy’s South. The Eu is at the forefront of Artificial Intelligence regulation, to ensure ethical and legal responsibility, human pre-eminence, data protection, impartiality, confidentiality and transparency. Competition between BigTech, crypto assets and banks must be full and fair, with identical rules, taxation and supervision. The digital Euro will have to avoid banking disintermediation and be innovative and guaranteed by the Ecb. Medium and long-term investments must be encouraged with adequate taxation.
