The application of artificial intelligence in Aml can offer significant benefits, but also presents challenges related to data quality, evolving regulations, continuous learning of algorithms, protection of fundamental rights, as well as the need to make the logical processes used to make decisions understandable and transparent. Explainable Artificial Intelligence, by addressing the explicability of Ia algorithms, initiates thinking about new application hypotheses for better compliance.
