The new regulatory and competitive scenario impacts on banks strategies, placing the P&C function at the center of change with an important role to play in identifying new business models and defining new strategic plans. The challenge for P&C function is the compatibility between strategic objectives and regulatory constraints and the need to combine opposite pressures: those of management on profits and business and those of the Supervision on risk and stability.
